Is your clinic using the right laser for the expected results?

Some laser machines focus on other beauty concerns—think acne, broken capillaries and even hair removal—and are programmed to do just that, without their main benefit being tighter skin. Different machines rely upon different technologies, but each machine has a specific wavelength designed to tackle a designated problem—the wavelengths of some just aren’t high enough to penetrate into the deeper layers of skin. Don’t think that just because you’re having your sun spots treated or a tattoo removed that the skin-tightening benefit is going to be the same as if you had your skin treated with a laser made just for tightening.  That being said not all lasers are capable of permanent hair removal, some offices use ones meant for sun-damage or veins.   Therefore it just damages the hair follicle but will only lighten (or thin) the hair and perhaps make it impossible to attain permanent hair removal in the future even if you use the proper laser.
