Your body is the most amazing machine you’ll ever own. Your skin has a natural program to repair and flourish if we give it the right nutrition from the inside out and topically …and don’t suppress its ability to function.
What you consume shows on the outside.
Just as superfood nutrients are required in our daily diet to keep our bodies healthy, and our skin glowing, the right skin care ingredients are also necessary to keep your skin healthy.
According to research, 70 per cent of women say they have dry, sensitive skin. Yet, there is also an epidemic of adult acne, with 44 per cent of women reportedly suffering spots. Most of this is caused by the use of poor quality moisturizers.
Our bodies are not capable of producing EPA and DHA so we need them in our diet it affects our skin hair and nails. The fatty acids keep the cell membrane healthy which helps the cells hold water that provide hydration.
It combats inflammation and diminishes acne rosacea eczema and psoriasis. A B 12 deficiency can cause hyperpigmentation, anxiety or depression.
Beautiful skin starts with healthy skin.
Smooth, firm, evenly colored, properly hydrated, supported by good circulation and free of blemishes.
Heavy moisturizer is making your skin worse, it’s making your skin ‘lazy’ and less able to hydrate itself. Most moisturizers lead to ‘the accumulation of dead surface skin cells, dryness, large pores, acne and sensitivity.
Only 15 per cent of us actually need a heavy moisturizer.
These are people who have genetically dry skin, they tend to not to have visible pores and have dry body skin, with conditions like eczema. The rest of us have normal skin, which doesn’t need that “blanket” smothering our skin.
Like leaves on your lawn, if you don’t rake the leaves they will smother the grass.
It works the same way with your skin and you must exfoliate the dead cells off.
Moisturizers are usually a mix of water and emollients, such as mineral and petroleum based oils, which are cheaper than natural oils. Petroleum based oils act as an emollient, but in fact, are quite damaging to our skin, our bodies and the environment.
These moisturizers make the skin ‘lazy’, so it becomes less able to hydrate itself.
This means we need more moisturizer to relieve dry, flaky skin on the face creating an expensive, demoralizing cycle. Normally the skin’s surface is renewed every six weeks, but from age 25 this process slows. Dead cells gather on the skin’s surface, making it rough and dull.
When a woman first notices this, she assumes it is caused by dryness, so she buys a light moisturizer.
The skin stops producing its own moisture and her skin starts to feels tight after the shower, so she buys a thicker moisturizer. But what she really needed was an exfoliator.
Using a natural moisturizer will stop water evaporating from the skin — plus humectants, which draw water up from the lower layers to the surface. They make skin feel moist and relieve itchiness and tightness.
It is water that makes our skin glow and feel moist.
We store water in the lower levels of the skin, in sponge-like structures called glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). This water is sealed into the skin by the skin barrier — layers of hardened, flattened skin cells, or stratum corneum.
This top layer is like a brick wall, with cells the bricks, and a mix of water, fats and protein the mortar, keeping everything together and cells hydrated. In addition, the upper layer produces vital natural moisturizing factors (NMFs) — amino acids, urea and lactic acid.
These keep skin supple, protect us from UV light, maintain the skin barrier and regulate the skin’s natural exfoliation.
Hyaluronic Acid is a clear lubricating substance that is produced in the body naturally. It is what lubricate your joints, helps collagen and is a natural humectant that pulls moisture from the air into your skin. It delivers nutrients to damage tissues as well as controls inflammation. 1 gram can hold up to 6 liters of water.
That is mind blowing when you consider hydration.
If you artificially saturate the skin surface with synthetic moisture, this sends a signal to cells to stop producing GAGs and NMFs. The epidermis shrivels and thins, and fine lines start to appear.
To add to our problems moisturizers stick dead skin cells to the skin’s surface. Oils clog pores, contributing to acne and rosacea, a condition that causes bumpiness, redness, and spots. Thick, oily moisturizers can also create the oxygen-free environment acne bacteria love, and kill off ‘friendly’ bacteria that keep skin healthy.
With the use of a natural moisturizer that also has a sophisticated delivery system You will begin to feel your skin becoming less dry after approximately two weeks.
It will have a youthful glow and radiance that other people will notice. Aging, sun exposure, harsh skincare, pollution, hormonal imbalances and even taking statins all mean your skin may need a moisturizer or serum.
Retinol, a form of vitamin A, speeds up skin regeneration, removes sun damage and also triggers natural hydration. Growth factors provide a silky sensation deliver antioxidants and essential oil’s to expedite healthy tissue regrowth.
They are natural substances made by skin cells to maintain healthy skin.
They are not growth hormones.
The Swiss Apple stem cell has been dubbed the super apple and Vogue says it could be the new fountain of youth. it contains special signaling molecules that triggers the apples healing ability to stimulate YOUR skins stem cells to work harder and live longer. They promote new cell growth and regenerate damaged cells.
There is a 92% increase in Stem Cell activity using this extract.
Peptides act as building blocks between amino acids. Antioxidants activate primary intracellular defense by preventing free radical chain propagation by interrupting initiation. Topical collagen products are completely ineffective because the molecules are too large to penetrate.
The ingredients need to be the higher-quality stimulators with smaller molecules combined with a carrier agent. Nanoparticles are used to reach the middle layers of the skin (the dermis) in order to target the cellular proteins responsible for aging.
The approach of using the bodies own defense system is very effective.
They have shown that activation of the body’s defense system with the aid of a unique delivery system is feasible and leverages dermal cure. Applying nano encapsulated droplets of microemultion liquids containing a cellular protective pathway inducer into the skin activates the natural skin defense system.
When considering natural moisturizers as an alternative to most store brands, understand that most commercial moisturizers are made primarily with water and synthetic emollients that give the feeling of moisture, but once the water dries, the skin is once again dehydrated.
Many of these products are a waste of money since they are quickly absorbed or evaporated and are not actually repairing skin health or replenishing vital nutrients like natural moisturizers will.
Skin needs natural moisture from plant-derived oils and organic emollients that our bodies know how to use effectively.
Natural moisturizers contain a multitude of vitamins, minerals, phyto-nutrients, proteins and fatty acids that are essential for proper skin function and repair.
These natural moisturizers help:
However, to be effective, they must be one of the primary ingredients, not a mere mention in the long list of unpronounceable ingredients!
So although we’re talking about natural, it’s not necessarily the ones you find on the shelves at whole foods or other health food stores. They need to have enough science to be able to penetrate to work.
Natural products use the most effective and nutrient-rich oils for skin such as:
When you apply natural products, they don’t immediately absorb and disappear because they are natural moisturizers and not all water and synthetic!
These skin care products are crafted with a large percentage of beneficial plant oils and natural emollients that provide deep effective moisture to the skin for HOURS, not minutes. The various sized molecules absorb at different rates for immediate hydration and long lasting moisture. Plus, they leave skin feeling silky and soft, not greasy or sticky.
Depending on the molecular structure and size of the molecules some ingredients actually need an effective carrier agent to allow the ingredients to penetrate to the proper level. So not only do they need to be natural-based they need to have enough science to deliver it effectively.
So next time you pick up that bottle of store bought moisturizer, are you really giving yourself the gift of good health?
I hear from women all the time who say “oh yes I’ve been on great skin care for years.”
When I asked them but they’ve been using is typically department store or drugstore products, occasionally ordered off the television commercials, or network marketing lines.
Typically these lines are full of cheap filler products and have very little active ingredients.
They rarely have a delivery system.
Given the molecular size of most ingredients it’s difficult for them, if not impossible, to penetrate the skin. So just because someone pays a lot for their skin care does it mean they’ve been on great skin care.
There is one line that is well known in the department stores, Erno Laszlo, that encourages you to rinse your face with the dirty water just washed it in. The premise is to return your natural oils to your face. I find that disgusting because you’re also returning all of the nasty bacteria and old make up to your nice clean skin. One of the lines uses positively charged sea water.
Seriously $2500 for magnetized water lol.
Network marketing companies typically start off as a network marketing company looking for a product to sell to optimize their profit. This company is the one that started off with a great product they found and decided to use that platform to distribute it.
Many network marketing companies have a product that is equivalent to a drugstore line but it is 30 times the cost.
Not everyone knows this but L’Oreal owns most of the high-end skincare lines. LaMer started off as a great product developed by a doctor, purchased by Estée Lauder (owned by L’Oreal) they then made mineral oil the main ingredients in the product.
It’s no longer worth the cost of the box it’s packaged in. So even if it sells for 300 to 2500 the average cost of the product is approximately $14 a bottle.

People say oh well I’ve been on quality skin care for years but if they purchase it in a department store or a drugstore it’s mostly inactive ingredients so they were just paying for a feel good product.
